Description

Forty-six percent hazelnut, and they are caramelised.

That is a different recipe from roasted: the nut gets a thin, hard sugar shell that cracks before you reach the nut itself. Around it, Belgian milk chocolate, creamy and mild.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a bar and chocolate chunks?
A bar is a flat, divided slab that you easily break into pieces. Chocolate chunks are loosely moulded, irregular pieces, ideal for snacking on as they are. At Elisabeth you'll find chunks with puffed rice and with caramelised hazelnuts, each in white, milk and dark, and chunks with almonds in milk and dark.
Do you also ship in warm weather?
We love the sun, our chocolate a little less. Above 25 °C we wait a while before shipping, which prevents melted surprises along the way. As soon as it cools down, your order goes out after all; we keep you informed by email. Biscuits, speculoos and sweets can handle a bit of sun, so we ship those all year round.
What is the best way to store chocolate?
Treat it like a good wine: cool, dry and dark, between 15 and 20 °C, in the closed box. Large temperature swings affect flavour and texture. The fridge or freezer is not a good idea: chocolate absorbs moisture and odours there, and you can taste it.
Where can I find the allergens and ingredients of a product?
On every product page, under 'Ingredients & allergens', and on the packaging itself. Good to know: many of our pralines and truffles contain soy, nuts or milk, and all our products may contain traces of nuts, peanuts, milk, eggs, soy, sesame seeds, sulphites and gluten. In doubt about something? Email us before you order at contact@elisabeth.be, and we'll check with the maker.
